Claire Burke hasn’t had a price increase in several years. So, I’m not surprised they felt they had to go up on some of their merchandise for 2009. Many essential oil costs have gone through the roof along with transportation and packaging.

We have just received notice on these favorites:

* Potpourri will go from $12 to $14 per bag
* Simmering Oil will go from $12 to $14 per bottle
* Tealights will go from $9 to $10 per pack of 9.
* Votive candles will go from $9 to $10 per pack of 4.
* Plug-in Warmer Refills will go from $10 to $12 per pack of 2 refills.

Vitabath is also owned by the same corporation and they have announced these increases:

* Lotion will go from $15 to $18 per 20 oz lotion.
* Vitabath gelee soap was $5.00 per bar and will now be $7.00 per bar.

Much of the Vitabath packaging has been updated to a fresh, clean new look.

Vitabath is releasing new Shea Butter Hand Creme and reformulated Sugar Scrubs. We expect these to be available in February.

Just as soon as we get the scented bookmarks from Claire Burke for their 2 new scents: Wild Cotton and Vanilla Bean, we will begin to include them in your orders. Or..simply call us and we’ll send them to you for a free sniff!
