I'm sad The Haunted Home isn't coming back. I've been waiting for years to purchase some more potpourri of it. It was devine!

That is so sad that The Haunted Home has been discontinued. Not only because it is an awesome scent, but because it was never really ever given a proper launch. I remember it was due to return the fall that Claire Burke was having all of the financial difficulty/ownership changes. Because of the timing, we never did get many of the items that were planned in this fragrance. No potpourri, no vapourri, (and this would have been wonderful). And a simmering oil for cool Autumn evenings in The Haunted Home fragrance would have been a perfect pairing. Though I don't believe that simmering oil was in the works anyway. Just thinking...it would have been so cozy. I would love for the new owners of Claire Burke to occasionally inquire with the people who matter (us consumers) just what we would like to see in the Claire Burke line-up. I know that Yankee Candle listens to consumer feedback, and VERY often they respond accordingly by bringing back customer favorites. I know that it has been said that often a product is requested, but then the consumers don't always back it up with purchases. I know this was the case, somewhat recently with Claire Burke's Wisteria. I have to say, I think part of the problem there was that this fragrance returned in 'name' only. The scent was entirely different, the potpourri was a completely different blend/look. To me, it was not very appealing at all. And I used the Wisteria from the earlier years on a regular basis. I still have some of the vapourri left, and I use it sparingly. Oh well, R.I.P. The Haunted Home...Lol. I am looking forward to the new Slice Of Spice from Claire Burke. It sounds promising. I plan to order it as soon as it becomes available. I cannot resist new Fall and Holiday scents.
