Personally I prefer soap over shower gel for the ease and simplicity of bathing. But, our soap sales had declined so we pretty much sold out and dropped most of our bar soaps. Wouldn’t you know that just as soon as we did that, we had customers coming into the store asking for all-natural high quality soaps that just can’t be found at the grocery store or big box stores.

So, because I prefer the moisturizing quality of shea butter, it seemed apparent that we should bring in these wonderful soaps by Pre de Provence of France. We just got these in and Deb has already taken several bars home to try out. She tells me she simply loves them!

We now offer 4 Herbal soaps: Comfrey, Chamomile, Peppermint & Eucalyptus in easy to hold 125 gram size for just $4.50 each.

There are wonderful bath beads in Green Tea in a handy tube for only $5.00

Because one of our customers requested Oatmeal for her sensitive skin (as recommended by her Dermatologist), we have added these Herbal Treatment Complexion bars: Calendula – for inflamed/patchy skin, Oatmeal for sensitive skin, Seaweed rich in anti-oxidants for cellulite and Milk which is great for delicate skin or children.

Last, but not least, we have also added Lemongrass, Sage & Sandalwood in slightly larger 150 gram size for $5 – $6. Remember the gents love Sandalwood! We get lots of requests for invigorating Lemongrass from both men & women alike.

In keeping with my philosophy that all women will eventually prefer to use natural or organic cosmetics and makeup; I am pleased to say we have finally located a lovely line of all-natural makeup by Honeybee Gardens that is reasonably priced.

We are starting out with their Mascara, Eye Liner and Eye Shadows. We already have a wonderful line of all-natural nail polish and lip sticks by Peace Keeper which I wear daily.

There are 8 different eye shadow colors, 3 eye liner pencils and 2 mascaras. All are reasonably priced at $6.00 – $10.00 and guaranteed not to irritate sensitive skin. You can feel good knowing you are applying only natural products to your skin that aren’t full of chemicals.

Last year we offered a lovely key and purse holder gift set by Finders KeyPurse in the Fleur de Lis pattern. It has been well received by our customers. The Haunted Home was developed by Claire Burke over 10 years ago. We’ve had many customer requests for this scent and the Factory decided to bring it back for Halloween 2008. We were sad they did not offer this splendid fragrance in simmer oil and vapourri. However, we are delighted to have such a warm and wonderful Maple, Clove, Caramel and Amber blend available in plug-in warmer refills.

I just recently put a few in my home to try the scent out and I’ve gotta say this is quickly becoming one of my new personal favorites. We now have available:

We found these beautiful glass picture frames at the July show in Atlanta. They are from Enchanted Meadow and have a lovely vintage look to them. There are 6 styles and we have started out with their 11″ x 9″ size which holds a 5″ x 7″ photo.

I see ladies with Vera Bradley purses everywhere I go. We looked into adding Vera Bradley, but we simply don’t have the minimum space they require. Baekgaard is still a fairly new line for us that we just started carrying at the beginning of this year. They offer beautiful leather purses and accessories in bright colors that just grab your attention. When we visited the Market in July, we previewed their new Fall & Winter collection and once again, we were not disappointed. Here is one of our new wallets:

One of our local customers said she would love to have the envelope case, so I ordered them for her. We are starting out with Apple Green, Caribbean Blue, White & Violet. These are so handy for keeping photos and papers together inside your purse.
