The folks at WoodWick are true innovators of new concepts in home fragrance. After all, they gave us wood wicked candles that sound like a crackling fire and they never skimp on the new scent introductions.

WoodWick has worked hard to introduce new green candles that are eco-friendly. They spend alot of time researching different soy and veggie wax combinations for their candles.

This year WoodWick is introducing their new “Spill-Proof” Reed Diffuser that has NO reeds or open top. It’s quite stylish in appearance and utilizes a wood insert and cap to dissipate the oil scent. There are no reeds to flip and they have applied for a patent to protect their new design. Freshbet will be offering these in 6 top-selling scents.

Discontinued Scents: Brown Sugar, Citrus Vanilla, Cucumber, Lemon Sage, Mojito, Peppercorn, Snowflake, Spiced Eggnog, Spiced Plum and Tuberose.

New scents: Peppermint Cocoa, Poinsettia, Frasier Fir, Holiday Glow, Buttered Rum, Cider, Cranberry Fig & Hollyberry.

There will be a new car scent in Pumpkin Butter. For their plug-in warmers, there will be several new refill scents: Frasier Fir & Pumpkin Butter.

Because the mini-reeds are so popular, they have created 2 new mini-reed trio gift sets: Fall Favorites, Seasons Greetings.

We will have more reed diffuser refills available in: Frasier Fir, Balsam Berry and Cinnamon Berry. There will be a new Cinnamon Chai gift set that includes a mini-reed, mini-jar candle & Car Scent that sells for only $20.

Also, they have reduced the price of their home fragrance oil warmer gift set, so we will have these available for just $20. If you love WoodWick Home Fragrance Oils, stock up as they are planning to discontinue these.

Greenleaf is another company that does a beautiful job with home fragrances. Their prices are always reasonable, the scents are strong and they still make paper drawer sachets which seem to be gaining in popularity this year.

Greenleaf has discontinued:
* Mulberry
* Citrus Verbena
* Fresh Blossoms

For Fall/Winter 09, they have released 2 new scents:
* Sycamore Fig
* West Indies Clove

Both of these are delightful and Freshbet is planning to bring in Sycamore Fig in July since it’s such a fresh, clean scent. The West Indies Clove is super spicy - just love it!

* In September we will have American Harvest and West Indies Clove available.
* In October we will have Christmas Traditions, Frosty, Timberleaf and Holiday Fruit.

Greenleaf makes wonderful effusion lampe oils, paper sachets, reed diffuser oil refills, potpourri, room spray & soy candles. They have also released more new Aroma Decor Lampes and a new line called “Top-It” which includes oil burners and reed diffusers.

We simply adore Claire Burke, it’s a very personal product line to me having grown up in the 60’s with a Mom who loved her Original. Recently we had a customer who found us on-line and visited our store. She told me the big department store in her town had told her that Claire Burke was no longer in business. HA! Wrong!

Here’s what we look forward to offering you for Fall & Winter 2009:

* More Mini-Reed Diffusers available in Christmas Memories, Oh Christmas Tree, Pomegranate Plum & new Slice of Spice.

Naturally we will have Christmas Memories and Oh Christmas Tree. These will start arriving in early October. There will be Vapourri, Votives, Tealights, Shimmer Candle, Plug-in Warmer Refills, and a new Potpourri in acetate box instead of bag.

We will again be offering the Ceramic Simmer Oil Fireplace set and Ceramic Tree Tealight Holder. There will be simmering oil in Christmas Memories, but none produced by the factory in Oh Christmas Tree. For our simmering oil fans, you may want to stock up this year. It seems that Simmering Oils may soon be discontinued as they are no longer selling well. So sad, but I suppose they have been replaced by warmer refills and reed diffusers; which take less effort to use.
