We had a rep named Kara who showed up at our store last Fall with one of these Curly Girl laptop skins on her PC. It was just too cute and I loved the sentiment. I asked her about it and she tells me it is by Curly Girl Designs. Now I don’t take my laptop out much, but I know plenty of folks who do.

So this January when Deb & I went to Market, we made a point of looking into Curly Girl. This is an interesting company that was started by a young woman named Leigh Standley who has naturally curly hair. As a woman who has struggled with a double-dose of natural curls all her life, this really struck a cord with me. She is the artist of these humorous designs and I think she has a wonderful attitude toward life.

Greenleaf is always innovative with new fragrances every year. When we started in 1998, it was normal for most fragrance companies to introduce several new scents in Spring, Fall & Winter. Over the years, I’ve noticed that some companies don’t do this so much these days. Greenleaf still releases new seasonal scents and they’re always great.

When Deb & I went to Market in January, I had also planned to try their new scent Valencia. However, I found it a bit too light. I was blown away with the new Garden Breeze because its a fresh floral scent with an herbal undertone. Very nice!
