Normally we don’t receive the Holiday WoodWicks until October or even November because folks just aren’t in the mood yet for Christmas scents. Somehow, the WoodWick Factory screwed up and sent our shipment early this year. The shipment was HUGE; I didn’t have the heart to refuse it.

So, we have their new Twinkling Collection now available in Peppermint Cocoa, Spice, Sweets and Pine. The Dancing Glass candles are simply gorgeous!

Now these ultra fragrant and simply beautiful candles go quickly, so don’t delay! They are very limited in availability and we have to order them about 6 months in advance so it is difficult to obtain more once they are depleted. NOTE: These are NOT plus-wick style.

The reed diffusers are super cute and will make a lovely gift for a co-worker or family member. The Reed Diffusers are painted and decorated glass bottles, 5 oz size that will last about 6 weeks.

Imagine my delight a month or two ago when a box showed up from WoodWick with a new candle sample! It was their new Plus Wick design and I was so anxious to give it a whirl. I fired it up right away. The literature said it would burn faster, throw the fragrance further, burn clean all the way to the edges and just generally be a better candle-burning experience.

This was fabulous news because we had experienced a few complaints in the past about WoodWick candles not burning properly. I was so impressed with the new Plus Wick design that I contacted the factory and asked them to be sure all our new shipments would be the new style.

Our Fall candles were ordered in the Spring so they are not the Plus Wick style. However, we are expecting a new shipment to arrive this week in Cinnamon Chai, Biscotti, Fireside, Redwood and Frasier Fir that WILL be the new Plus Wick style and they will be clearly marked on our website.

The Plus Wick is actually 2 wicks in the shape of an “X”. These beauties burn perfectly! The wax liquifies all the way to edge of the candle and really throws the scent to quickly fragrance my entire kitchen. The Pumpkin Butter will not be PlusWick as the Factory apparently has not made them in that style yet.
