TC is always creating new products and scents to maintain their cutting-edge position in their industry. Their new T-Cells are innovative and very popular with our customers because they are non-aerosol, last up to 90 days and can be recycled making them “green”.
Recently I was talking with Jerry, our Sales Region Manager and he advised that Jen Hart of TC has created 2 new scents for their line of T-Cell odor neutralizer refills:
#750905 Vanilla Cream which is similar to Yankee Candles’ Buttercream scent.
#750907 Apple Cinnamon is similar to Claire Burke’s Apple Jack & Peel.
They are releasing these on July 1st. I will be ordering these in June to add to our offering. If you would like to pre-order, you can call us at 1-800-322-0525. Otherwise, these will be available on our website for purchase in early July when we receive these items into inventory.
Last Fall, the Claire Burke Factory decided to discontinue availability of individual refresher oil sprays in all fragrances. We were disappointed when they did this and I had discussed the possibility of getting a special production run with their management.
This past January, they told me they were tooling a special dropper top insert and that individual refresher oils in non-spray format would soon be available. This would have been fabulous for so many of our customers who truly miss this product.
Well, apparently with all the management changes, they decided not to pursue this avenue. Previously they had told us refresher oils would continue to be available only within a bag of potpourri. Recently I followed up with the Factory to find out the current status after receiving an email from Willeen.
Now I have been told they do have refresher oil sprays back in stock; so naturally we have ordered these in Original and Apple Jack. We expect these to arrive in the next few weeks.

Last month I emailed Richard the new owner of Claire Burke regarding the roll-out of Haunted Home for this Fall. I was concerned that they were not offering a full line up of their usual products.
Because Claire Burke is still recuperating from their buy-out last year, they apparently will not have Simmering Oil, Vapourri or Potpourri. They will have the Witches Brew ceramic candle and a Spooky Candle Tea Light Holder Trio in black/orange/purple. Richard emailed me this past week to let me know they WILL be offering the plug-in warmer refills in this wonderful fragrance.
We expect The Haunted Home to arrive in early September. We will have scented bookmarks to send out with your orders so you can “sniff” this scent ahead of time. These electric warmer refills will fit any recent Claire Burke plug-in warmer.
Haunted Home is a warm and comfy blend of maple, clove, caramel and amber. Simply yummy! These items will be available on our website to purchase in September.
I have painted my nails for the last 25-30 years and I just can’t tell you how much I love our new Peacekeeper Nail Paint. First, it’s all organic and natural without any formaldehyde or other toxins. It wears like iron and dries super quick. I actually have been able to stop using a base coat and top coat. I found it bubbled when I used standard top/base coats. Now I can slap 2 coats of Peacekeeper Nail Paint on my nails and it’s totally dry within 20 minutes.

Aromatique is a fabulous line of exceptional quality at prices that represent excellent value. We are still learning about Aromatique’s fragrance offerings as we only recently started carrying this line. Deb and I are very impressed with their scents which are quickly becoming some of our personal favorites.
We already stock Peach Pizazz, Fresh Fig, Summer Sorbet, Citrus Plum Berry and Smell of Spring. I recently added the Reed Diffuser Refill oil in Peach Pizazz and Summer Sorbet.
Aromatique has just released a brand new fragrance called Wildflowers which is only available at Gift Stores. Our new Wildflowers is available in Reed Diffuser Set and Reed Diffuser Oil Refill. Because this is a limited offering for summer, they are not offering the room spray in aerosol or 5 oz glass candles. We have also recently added the Fresh Fig Decorative Fragrance (aka potpourri).

Enchanted Meadow does a beautiful job with their potpourri. These gorgeous bags of botanicals are all lovingly hand-assembled at their Canadian plant near Vancouver. Last year they discontinued a long-time favorite called Fleurs de Provence. This year they have introduced their new scent called Prima Fleur which is similar.
Prima Fleur is a romantic and feminine blend of pink botanicals fragranced with complex floral notes of greens, muguet and white jonquil. We are starting out with the bag potpourri, reed diffuser oil refill and refresher oil.

Our new line of Baekgaard Colorful Leather purse accessories has been flying off the shelves. Everyone is loving these bright and cheery colors in the wallets, passport holders and purses. The tartan combinations are especially chic in Azalea Pink, Caribbean Blue and Apple Green.
So, I just couldn’t resist trying some of the headbands. I remember wearing a headband when I was a girl and I think they are back in style again. Our Baekgaard Tartan Headbands are made of all leather with a nice suede inside lining so they don’t slip around on your head.

We have been getting the new rounded shoulder style Microburst 3000 cans for many months. I recently noticed they are now 2 oz, where the older style was 1.8 oz.
Last week we had an email from Linda regarding the difference. She noted they sometimes are a tight fit when replacing the refill in the Microburst 3000 dispenser. I had recently noticed the same thing; so I decided to forward Linda’s concern to the Technical Concepts Factory.

We have been transitioning over to the new “round shoulder” MB3000 cans since 2007. These new cans should fit all MB3000 dispensers.
It’s possible the hammer in the dispenser is in the down position, so they would have to lift up with their little finger before inserting the new can.
